Dear Colleagues,
I am very happy to announce that effective March 1, 2022, Rebecca Belford, head of technical services at the Conservatory Library, has agreed to serve as interim Associate Director for Collections and Resource Services. She will serve in this role until June 30. During that period our search committee will continue its work to fill the position permanently.
Rebecca has experience in this role from her time at Brown University. Her presence and experience will allow us to move forward on some decision making and clarification of roles/responsibilities in the short term. Rebecca will stay based in the Con Library with a landing pad in Terrell and frequent visits/meetings with AES,DMS,Michael and larger Tech Services group.
