Important Title IX email… that looks like a scam, but isn’t!

Hi Folks,

I just confirmed with Rebecca Mosely that an email I received (that was automatically marked as spam) was, in fact, completely legitimate. The subject of the email is “Vector LMS, Higher Education Edition Online Training” and is being used as Title IX training for the campus this year. We are all, apparently, expected to complete it. If you can’t find the email, or it was deleted, please contact rmosely@oberlin.edu.

  1. Glad it’s not a scam because I did it as soon as I received it! thanks for checking…

  2. I asked HR because it seemed kind of weird, and they wrote back “This email is not legitimate, it did not come from HR or anyone at Oberlin College. Please do not open the link and report the email address” so that’s great… I guess I should tell Rebecca Mosley. I was sure something like this would have appeared in the Campus Digest or at least not get flagged by Gmail.
