Digital Scholarship Position and Focus

I write with the good news that Megan Mitchell, Academic Engagement & Digital Initiatives Coordinator, will now focus her teaching and liaison work on digital scholarship for students and faculty, AND serve as CODEX Project Director, succeeding Jacob Heil in this role.  Megan has been involved with CODEX since its inception, has held leadership positions in our Ohio Five Digital Collaborations and Digital Stewardship, and is a steering committee member for ILiADS. We’re very fortunate to have Megin’s skill and experience to pilot CODEX and this is the right moment for OCL to offer more tools and training in digital scholarship and to collaborate more closely with our peers on workshops and projects.

All of our librarians are involved in this area, of course, each with their own specialities and  platform/software expertise.  Having Megan as the lead coordinator of digital collaborations and stewardship, however, will help highlight its importance in our mission to “develop informed scholars, resourceful artists, and engaged citizens.”   THANK YOU, Megan.
