Erin Potter will serve as Libraries Business Manager

I am very happy to announce that Erin Potter will be joining us as our full-time Business Manager with her first official day being tomorrow!  Erin joined us as a temporary bookkeeper in January. As I began to understand our budget and plan for next year’s, Erin was invaluable and she has since streamlined processes, brought the libraries in line with college practices, and positioned each department in the libraries for better budget management/oversight in the future. She has revised financial and communication structures within the libraries to deliver precise financial reporting and budgeting support, crucial in these times of reduced budgets. Erin will meet regularly with each department and help us all with all things financial.

Erin has over 20 years of success across industries as the primary financial officer completing budget management, financial analysis, and payroll functions. She has also been an educator in the Parma City School District and has a master’s degree in Education and is an American Sign Language interpreter.  She did her BA at Kent State.  Fun fact: Erin also attended the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts.
