Geminid meteor shower peak

An excellent meteor shower will be at its peak Wednesday night around 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and will also be good tonight and Thursday night, as the forecast calls for clear sky all three nights. The Moon is also new tonight, so the absence of moonlight will make the shower easier to see. Looking up for a good stretch while reclining comfortably warm with winter clothing, blankets, and hot beverages, and being clear of the direct glare of streetlights and other light sources, and taking in the whole sky with naked eyes can provide the opportunity to  view some of the most uniquely bright, long, and slow-traveling meteors of the year.
