Summer is the normal time of year that we test the audible devices and strobe alerts on our fire alarm systems. The audible portion of the test varies while inspectors verify the device, location and communication with the main fire panel in the respective building. This is a TEST, not an actual emergency.
In occupied residence halls, audible signals and sleeping room entry will not occur until 10 am. Please pass along to any students or professional staff staying in affected residence halls.
Some listed buildings may have SIP or CIP projects occurring. Please pass this information along to your Foreman overseeing projects in specific buildings.
