Recently the ACE team was made aware of a MCT LinkedIn account which is not an official libraries social media account. The discovery of this account has prompted us to remind it’s creator and all library staff of our Personnel Platform policy:
All social media accounts and blogs must be vetted by the ACE Team before being authorized as an official OCL platform. Any personal accounts or blogs that focus on the workings of the Oberlin College Libraries or Oberlin College and are not sanctioned as an official platform should prominently display the following statement:
The views expressed on this blog are mine and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Oberlin College Libraries or Oberlin College.
