It meant a great deal to me that we could get together to mourn and remember the wonderful times we shared with Alison. Thank you for making that available, Valerie.
As a follow-up, I want to share photos from the great migration of the Science Library plants to and from Alison’s house. She was so darn cute! Additionally, I don’t think anyone talked about her bravery in hiking a portion of the Appalachian trail with her dog, Miss Patti Lu. I’m sharing a photo of Patti as well.

I love these, Kathy! Thank you for sharing. Boy, did she love Patti! I forgot about their hikes. Alison’s twice yearly migration with the plants resulted in 30,000 steps each time. Nobody did dedication like Alison Ricker.
