Hi folks,
If you live locally, the public library’s trustee meeting is next Thursday, April 14th, at 5 at the library. Please try to attend. There’s rough relations between the now former director and the board, and despite the staff insisting he’s been good for the community, the president of the board insists that the attendance at the board meetings isn’t showing it. I also recommend reading the prior meetings minutes. (Unfortunately, the meetings from the very last meeting are not up yet, as they need to be approved at this meeting.)
I’ll be there.
I’m also planning to go. The OPL board has been sort of overtaken by a group of people who don’t live in Oberlin and seem to have a weird view of how things should be run.
