Fall 2022 ACE Reminders
Fall Semester is right around the corner and so the ACE Team would like to remind everyone to always fill out the OCL Host an Event Form when you are planning any event, whether or not you need our assistance with it. This allows our Engagement and Events sub-team to track everything happening across the libraries.
And please remember to fill out the OCL Communications Form whenever you’d like us to promote your collections, resources, events, and exhibitions on any of our communication platforms (Website News, Campus Digest, Campus or Community Events Calendars, Instagram and Facebook). The sooner you submit, the better, as this helps us plan our schedule for the semester. Please also take the time to review the Communication Platforms Standards document, which outlines time restrictions, appropriate content, and size/file requirements.
Thanks so much! We look forward to promoting you this fall semester!
Category and Quick Links Changes in the Lowdown
Hi Everyone,
I’ve made a couple requested changes to the Lowdown.
First, the “Library Leadership Team” (LLT) category is now named “Directors and Heads of Libraries” (DHL) to reflect the new structure of that group. You can now find the notes from that group’s meetings by filtering by that category. All previous posts under the old LLT category have been updated, so you can find old notes there, too.
I have also added a “Meeting Minutes and Notes” category for any of our working groups, task forces, Library Council, etc. to use as they are reporting their meeting activities. You’ll find that new category option on the Contribute page, and listed in the Categories drop-down menu. I’ve tagged all previous DHL notes submissions with the new minutes tag. If there are other previous posts that should include the new category, just let me know.
Lastly, I have added the OCL Documentation Hub LibGuide to the Quick Links on the right of the Lowdown.
